The Seattle Mariners reinstated outfielder Victor Robles from the injured list and designated utilityman Dylan Moore for assignment ahead of their game against the Athletics on Saturday.

Robles has been out since early April with a fracture and dislocation in his shoulder suffered crashing into the netting in right field on a catch at Oracle Park in San Francisco.

The 28-year-old outfielder is facing a 10-game suspension he received for throwing his bat towards Las Vegas Aviators stater Joey Estes after he was hit on a swing during a minor league rehab game with Triple-A Tacoma last week, which must be served in the major leagues. However, Robles is appealing the suspension, meaning he is eligible to play until a ruling has been given.

Robles is in the Mariners’ lineup batting seventh and playing right field Saturday night.

Coincidentally, the Athletics called Estes up from the minors Friday.

Robles hit .310 (9 for 29) with three doubles, one home run, nine RBIs and two stolen bases in eight games during his rehab stint with the Rainiers.

The former top prospect had a surprising breakout season after joining the Mariners in June last season, batting .328 with an .860 OPS, 20 doubles, four home runs, 26 RBIs and 30 stolen bases in 77 games with Seattle.

Moore, who won the American League Gold Glove as a utility player last season, was the longest-tenured player on the Mariners’ roster, signing as a free agent in November, 2018.

The Mariners have seven days to place Moore on waivers or release him. If he clears waivers, he can be assigned to the minors. But he has the option decline the assignment and elect free agency due to having five years of MLB service time.

After a stellar start to the season, the 33 year old has been mired in a lengthy slump. In 47 games since May 28, he was hitting .045 (3 for 74) with a .240 OPS, 38 strikeouts and a minus-26 wRC+.

Moore was batting .193 with a .622 OPS, five doubles, nine home runs, 19 RBIs and 12 stolen bases in 88 games on the season.

In 671 games across seven seasons with the Mariners, he has a .205 average with a .691 OPS, 61 home runs, 192 RBIs and 116 stolen bases.
