IV. HOW AND WHEN WINNER WILL BE NAMED

710 ESPN SEATTLE’S FANTASY FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP will consist of 10-team leagues with each team competing against other teams within the league for 13 weeks. The team in each league with the best head-to-head record will be declared the League Champion, win $50 in cash, and advance to the Championship Round. The team in each league with the most total points (or the second highest ‘total points’ leader if the head-to-head champion also had the most points) will also advance to the Championship Round to compete for the Grand Prize. All teams in the Championship Round will compete in Weeks 14, 15, 16 and 17 using total points as the only scoring format. The team with the most cumulative points during those four rounds will win the $10,000 grand prize and be declared the 710 ESPN SEATTLE FANTASY FOOTBALL GRAND CHAMPION.

The draft order for each league will be randomly selected onsite Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington. Officially registered participants will be those who opt in to participate in the contest at the point of registration at the Event on Thursday, August 21, 2014 and Draft and created an ESPN.com username. Participants will be randomly assigned a league on site. This process will be supervised by 710 ESPN Seattle’s Fantasy Football Championship Executive Staff. Leagues will continue to fill until all officially registered entrants have been slotted at 8pm on Thursday, August 21, 2014. Maximum number of entrants in 710 ESPN SEATTLE’S FANTASY FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP is 210. 710 ESPN Seattle’s Fantasy Football Championship Executive Staff retains the right to a league team under the 10 person maximum. No trades will be permitted, period.

710 ESPN SEATTLE’S FANTASY FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP will select players in a serpentine process for 16 rounds (1 through 10 in Round 1, 10-1 in Round 2, 1-10 in Round 3 and continuing that way for 16 rounds). Each team will have no more than 60 seconds to make their selection based on the sand timer provided at each table. Once the draftee writes down their draft selection (position and player) and initials on the “Commissioner Sheet”, the pick is made official. If a team fails to make a draft selection in 60 seconds, the team due up next will move up one spot and have 60 seconds to make their pick. After that pick, the team passed will be up again and have 60 seconds to make their pick. Owners can pick players at any position throughout the draft, but must have at least one required starter at the 9 starting spots (1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex (WR, RB or TE), 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D/ST) and 7 reserves by the end of the draft. Points are accumulated from player’s 9 starters each week and the team with the most points in the weekly head-to-head match-up is declared the winner. Total points continue to be accumulated by each team throughout the 13-week regular season schedule as well.

The top two teams in each league (head-to-head and total points) advance to the Championship Round for a chance to win the grand prize.

Head-to-head champion will be the team with the best win-loss record within each 10-team league after the 13-week regular season. Each head-to-head champion will win $50 and will advance to the Championship Round, whereas the total points champion will only advance to the Championship Round. If after 13 regular season games, multiple teams are tied for first place; the following tie-break procedures will be instituted, in this order: Total points through 13 weeks and Head-to-head record between tied teams. If three or more teams are involved in the tie, its cumulative wins against those common opponents; highest point total from Week 13, highest point total from Week 12, highest point total from Week 11, Coin toss.

Total points champion will be the team with the most points accumulated within each ten-team league after the 13-week regular season. The total points champion in each league will not win any money, but will be eligible for the $10,000 grand prize.

If after 13 regular season games, multiple teams are tied for first place; the following tie-break procedures will be instituted, in this order: Overall win-loss record and Head-to-Head record between tied teams. If three or more teams are involved in the tie, its cumulative wins against those common opponent; highest point total from Week 13, highest point total from Week 12, highest point total from Week 11, Coin toss.

The two qualifiers from each 10-team league will all compete against one another in the Championship Round. The grand prize winner will be the team which accumulates the most total points from Week 14 to Week 17. If after the four playoff rounds, there are multiple teams with the same point total, the following tie-break procedures will be instituted in this order. Highest point total in Week 17, highest point total in Week 16, highest point total in Week 15, highest point total in Week 14, Coin toss.

In the event the winner is deemed ineligible, fails to comply with contest procedures, or is not available to claim prize during specified dates, then an alternate grand prize winner will be selected in accordance with the 710 ESPN SEATTLE FANTASY FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP standings.

The winner will be notified via email and/or phone with details and logistics regarding redemption of their prize.
