Seattle Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright will reportedly be back with the team in 2019 on a new contract, according to KIRO Nights host Gee Scott. The move keeps Seattle’s longstanding linebacker duo together and rounds out a group that, as of Wednesday, now includes Mychal Kendricks.

Scott cited a direct source late Wednesday night. Exact details of Wright’s new deal with Seattle have yet to be confirmed.
A fourth-round pick by the Seahawks in 2011, Wright, 29, remains one of Seattle’s longest-tenured players. During that time, he has recorded two interceptions and 744 career tackles.
After appearing in all but five games from 2011-17, Wright was sidelined by a knee injury for most of the 2018 season.
This is a developing story.
