James Paxton will make his third start of the season for the Mariners on Saturday night against the Texas Rangers, as the Mariners switched him and Hisashi Iwakuma in the rotation after their off day Thursday.

The Mariners used that extra day to keep Paxton on a regular rest of four days, as it allowed them to put the right-handed Iwakuma between Paxton and fellow lefty Ariel Miranda. Paxton still has a 0.00 ERA after his first two starts, throwing 13 scoreless innings.

In Seattle’s lineup for the 6:10 game on 710 ESPN Seattle, Jarrod Dyson is back in the leadoff spot, Leonys Martin returns to center field after sitting Friday, and catcher Mike Zunino has been dropped to ninth in the order.
