Tarvaris Jackson will take the majority of reps with the first team offense this week and is expected to start this Sunday in Dallas. Head coach Pete Carroll had said during his Monday press conference that he would be approaching things differently this week than last — with Jackson as the assumed starting quarterback.

“He’s going to take the majority of snaps at practice, he’s going to throw the football,” Carroll said of Jackson on Wednesday. “We didn’t throw him in the walk through to save him some throws. Charlie [Whitehurst] will share on some of those reps, but basically he’ll get the starter reps for this preparation.

“He feels the best he’s felt, but he’s still not well yet. We’ll manage him through it and hopefully have a week with continuity and his comfort with the game plan and all of that that will help.”

Carroll did say, however, that Jackson would remain on the injury list throughout the week as his pectoral strain is not yet 100 percent healthy. Jackson was listed as a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.

Wide receiver Mike Williams was a limited participant on Wednesday, still hindered by the hamstring injury that resulted in his late scratch from Sunday’s game. Williams was not on the injury report last week, but Carroll had said on Monday that he had taken himself in and out of practice all week and the hamstring had become a real issue during the pregame warmups.

Tight end Cameron Morrah is still bothered by a sore knee and sat out Wednesday’s practice. Carroll said that he didn’t expect a definitive result on the testing until this Friday. “We have to take it a day at a time and see how he responds,” Carroll said. “He’s been checked out and all that and there’s not extensive damage, but yet he’s got a legit sore knee, so we have to see how he responds.” Morrah was just activated from the physically unable to perform list two week ago, after having sat out the first six weeks of the season.

Left guard Robert Gallery, who was a bit banged up in Sunday’s game, was a full participant on Wednesday and is not listed on this week’s injury report.
