Seattle is expected to hire former Colts quarterback coach Brian Schottenheimer for the role, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The team has not confirmed the move.

Schottenheimer, 44, has also coached with the Rams and Jets, and was an offensive coordinator for the Georgia Bulldogs. He is the son of Marty Schottenheimer, former head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Seahawks fired former offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell on Wednesday after seven seasons, along with offensive line coach Tom Cable.
