Do the Seahawks have an NFL Defensive MVP at middle linebacker?
It’s entirely possible considering the play of Bobby Wagner this season.
Not only has Wagner already hit the 100-tackles mark for the sixth time in his six pro seasons, he has a pair of interceptions – one in each of Seattle’s wins over the San Francisco 49ers.
The first interception, which Dave Wyman broke down previously, saw Wagner essentially tricking 49ers QB Brian Hoyer into making a throw he could pick off. But the second, which occurred in the second quarter of Seattle’s win last Sunday, was something entirely different.
In the video above, Wyman shows just how exceptional a play it was that Wagner made to intercept C.J. Beathard.
