Martellus Bennett, Michael’s brother, says he’s funnier

Bears tight end Martellus Bennett, the self-proclaimed pretty brother who wears J. Crew to bed, told 710 ESPN Seattle’s “Brock and Danny” that he hadn’t really seen his big bro, Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett, on the field until the playoffs.

“I actually flew to both playoff games and that’s my first time ever being in the stands because we’ve both never made it to the playoffs and we’ve both been on the same team,” he said.

Martellus admitted he’s a bit jealous, but it’s a big moment for the Bennett family.

While he enjoys ripping on Michael’s wardrobe, or lack thereof (Michael apparently prefers to be shirtless and barefoot in Hawaii) – Martellus is his biggest fan.

While he’s waiting to see Michael in the Super Bowl, Martellus is working on improving his brother’s famous sack dance — think Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing,” but Sack-sual Healing.

“Stick with that one dance … next thing you know, you’re on Dancing with the Stars. The only dance he’s doing is the Sack-sual Healing dance … He might get cut in the first round with those hips that he has.”

Martellus promised his brother is just as funny as he is, but Michael is more of a Larry David — while he’s Will Smith, Richard Pryor, Ben Stiller, Jamie Foxx, and Jim Carrey all rolled into one.
