Super Bowl Injury Reports: Seahawks’ Emmanwori good to go

Seattle Seahawks standout rookie defensive back Nick Emmanwori was a full participant in Friday’s practice and didn’t carry a game designation on the injury report, which means he’s considered good to go for Super Bowl 60 against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Emmanwori injured his ankle in Wednesday’s practice and didn’t practice Thursday, but Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald told the media Thursday that they “fully expect” the rookie second-round pick to play on Sunday.

Friday’s injury report adds further confirmation to that, which undoubtedly will ease the fears of countless Seahawks fans across the Pacific Northwest.

The only Seahawks player with a game status designation is rookie fullback Robbie Ouzts (neck), who is listed as questionable.

That means every other player on Seattle’s 53-man roster is considered healthy enough to play.

Also of note: Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold (oblique) was a full participant in practice for a second straight day and starting left tackle Charles Cross (foot) was upgraded to a full participant after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday.

Backup left tackle Josh Jones (ankle, knee) was downgraded to limited after being a full participant on Thursday.

Patriots injury report

Patriots starting linebacker Robert Spillane (ankle) and top edge rusher Harold Landry III (knee) were both limited in Friday’s practice and listed as questionable. Defensive tackle Joshua Farmer (hamstring), who is on injured reserve, also is listed as questionable.

Spillane, who was injured in the AFC Championship, is the Patriots’ signal-caller on defense. He posted a team-high 97 tackles, 1.0 sack, four tackles for loss, two interceptions, five pass breakups and a forced fumble in 13 regular-season games.

Landry recorded a team-high 8.5 sacks in the regular season, but missed the AFC title game while dealing with a knee injury that’s lingered for much of the year.

No other Patriots have game status designations.

New England quarterback Drake Maye (shoulder), the NFL MVP runner-up, was a full participant in practice all week.
