The state of the Seattle Seahawks’ roster appears to be good ahead of Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Seattle’s injury report released Friday afternoon has two players ruled out and another questionable. Everybody else on the active roster is ready to go.

Three numbers that matter as Seahawks’ JSN chases NFL history

One of the players ruled out is a bit of a blow: third-string running back George Holani will miss the 1:05 p.m. game Sunday with a hamstring injury that took him out of action during last week’s win at Tennessee.

The Seahawks seemed to have a good idea going into the week that Holani would be unavailable, as they signed former Los Angeles Rams and Vikings running back Cam Akers to the active roster on Wednesday.

The other player ruled out is rookie defensive end Rylie Mills, which is no surprise. The fifth-round NFL Draft pick out of Notre Dame has been out all year while recovering from an ACL injury suffered while still with the Fighting Irish and was just designated to return to practice for the first time this week.

The one Seahawks player ruled questionable for Sunday is safety Ty Okada, who has an oblique injury. He did not practice Wednesday and was limited in practice Thursday.

The injury report signals that the Seahawks will get starting linebackers Ernest Jones IV (knee) and Tyrice Knight (concussion) back after they both missed the win over the Titans due to injury.

Other players expected to play Sunday who were listed with injuries on the practice report this week are outside linebacker Uchenna Nwosu (ankle), defensive end Mike Morris (knee), running back Kenneth Walker III (glute), wide receiver Cody White (abdomen) and guard Grey Zabel (knee).

As expected, Minnesota has ruled out quarterback J.J. McCarthy out for Sunday with a concussion. Guard Donovan Jackson (ankle) has also been ruled out.

Max Brosmer will start at QB for the Vikings, coach Kevin O’Connell announced Friday. John Wolford will come up from Minnesota’s practice squad to serve as the backup.

This will be the first meeting between Seahawks QB Sam Darnold and Minnesota since he left the Vikings after a Pro Bowl 2025 season for Seattle in free agency.
