Seahawks Inactives: Who’s in, who’s out vs Colts

SEATTLE – Seattle Seahawks center Jalen Sundell, veteran run-blocking tight end Eric Saubert and rookie defensive end Rylie Mills are all active for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.

All three players are coming off injuries and were listed as questionable on Friday before being activated to Seattle’s 53-man roster on Saturday. Sundell and Saubert were activated from injured reserve, while Mills is set to make his NFL debut after being activated from the non-football injury list.

All six of the Seahawks’ inactives for Sunday are healthy scratches, as none of the players on their 53-man roster are unavailable due to injury.

Among Seattle’s inactives is rookie fullback Robbie Ouzts, who is a healthy scratch for the first time in his career.

The Seahawks’ other inactives are rookie third-string quarterback Jalen Milroe, rookie offensive tackle/guard Mason Richman, rookie guard Bryce Cabeldue, rookie edge rusher Connor O’Toole and rookie edge rusher Jared Ivey. Milroe will serve as the emergency third quarterback.

Sundell, who started the first nine games of the season at center, missed the past four games with a knee injury.

Sundell worked as the center for Seattle’s first-team offense during pregame warmups on Sunday, which indicates he’ll resume his starting role. There had been some question over that after backup Olu Oluwatimi played well in Sundell’s absence.

Saubert is back after missing the past six games with a calf injury. He figures to serve as the backup tight end moving forward, with rookie tight end Elijah Arroyo landing on IR Saturday with a knee injury.

Mills, a fifth-round draft pick out of Notre Dame, has been sidelined all season while working back from a torn ACL that he suffered in a College Football Playoff game last December.
