All signs continue to point to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold playing Saturday night in their NFC Divisional Round playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Can Seahawks beat 49ers if Drew Lock is QB instead of Sam Darnold?

Seattle’s inactives list does not include Darnold, meaning he’s likely to play despite being deemed questionable on the final injury report before the game on Thursday. Darnold was a surprise addition to the injury report with an oblique injury that he felt in practice the same day.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported Saturday that Darnold had not thrown a football since Thursday, and NFL Network’s Steve Wyche said the Seahawks “basically shut him down” once he felt the injury. But the Seahawks and Darnold have maintained optimism that he would be able to play for the top-seeded Seahawks against their NFC West rivals, though backup Drew Lock worked with the first team offense in the days leading up to the game.

The top name on Seattle’s inactives list released Saturday afternoon is offensive lineman Josh Jones, who was already ruled out on Thursday. It also includes defensive end Rylie Mills, third-string quarterback Jalen Milroe, linebacker Jared Ivey, guard Bryce Cabeldue, and guard/tackle Mason Richman.

Wide receivers Ricky Pearsall and Jacob Cowing, and linebackers Dee Winters and Luke Gifford are all active after being deemed questionable for the 49ers going into the game.

Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. at Lumen Field, with radio coverage on Seattle Sports 710 AM, KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM, and the Seattle Sports, KIRO Newsradio and official Seahawks apps.
