The Seattle Seahawks expressed interest in troubled free agent cornerback Terrion Arnold, according to the former first-round pick’s agent.

Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reported agent Nicole Lynn at a court hearing Friday said the Seahawks were among four teams who inquired about Arnold, who was arrested June 24 on felony charges of armed robbery and kidnapping. Arnold is facing eight felony charges.

Lynn said Arnold had a workout with the Houston Texans this week and has another scheduled with an unnamed team next week. The Indianapolis Colts and New York Jets have also expressed interest in the defensive back, per Lynn.

The Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta reported a league source said the Seahawks are not expected to sign Arnold and their inquiry was made as part of their policy of being in on everything around the league.

Arnold is currently out of police custody after posting a $1 million bond. He was released June 30. Arnold is subject to house arrest, but a Florida judge ruled Friday that he does not need to wear a GPS tracker as a condition of his release.

The 23-year-Arnold, who was the No. 24 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, spent the past two seasons with the Detroit Lions. The team released him June 29 and he cleared waivers Monday.

In 24 games over two NFL seasons, the Alabama product has 18 passes defended and one interception. He missed nine games last season due to a shoulder injury and concussion.
