Seahawks (estimated) Monday practice report: 8 listed as DNP

The Seahawks listed eight players has having not practiced Monday, but participation was estimated because the team held a walk-through.

RENTON – With a Thursday-night game altering their schedule this week, the Seahawks held a walk-through on Monday as opposed to a full-scale practice. The participation listed on their practice report was therefore an estimation, which means that too much shouldn’t be read into which players took part and which didn’t.

Eight players are listed as having not practiced, including three starters: right tackle Garry Gilliam, center Patrick Lewis and defensive end Cliff Avril. Coach Pete Carroll said Gilliam injured his ankle Sunday against Carolina and that Lewis had MRIs Monday after hurting his ankle and knee.

Linebacker Bobby Wagner is listed as a limited participant as are three other starters: left guard Justin Britt, strong safety Kam Chancellor and cornerback Richard Sherman as well as wide receiver/kick returner Tyler Lockett. Wagner didn’t play Sunday because of a pectoral strain while Lockett hurt his hip.
