ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the Vikings’ request to interview Teasley.
Brady Henderson of ESPN also reported that if the Vikings were to hire Teasley, Seattle would receive a compensatory third-round pick in each of the next two drafts.
Teasley, an Ellensburg native and Central Washington University alumnus, has spent 13 seasons climbing up the organizational ladder with the Seahawks, which includes being with the franchise for both its Super Bowl titles.
He joined the Seahawks in 2013 as in intern in the scouting department and was promoted to pro personnel scout in 2014.
In 2017, Teasley was named assistant director of pro personnel. The following year he was named director of pro personnel, a role he held for five seasons.
In February 2023, Teasley landed the assistant general manager job he now holds with the franchise.
In his current role, Teasley helps oversee football operations and is involved in all aspects of player acquisition, including the draft, free agency and trades.
The Vikings are searching for a replacement for Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, who was fired Jan. 30 after four seasons with Minnesota.
According to Schefter, the Vikings have also requested interviews with 49ers assistant GM R.J. Gillen, Titans assistant GM Dave Ziegler, Rams assistant GM John McKay and Bill assistant GM Terrance Gay.
CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones reported Vikings interim GM Rob Brezezinski is also a candidate for the position.
