Report: Seahawks, LT Charles Cross agree to 4-year extension
Left tackle Charles Cross has reportedly agreed to a contract extension with the Seattle Seahawks worth $104.4 million.

The Seattle Seahawks and left tackle Charles Cross have agreed on a four-year, $104.4 million contract extension, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported on Sunday.
ESPN’s Brady Henderson reported the deal includes $75 million in guarantees.
Seahawks’ home, road opponents set for 2026 season
Henderson reported the extension will pick up after the 2026 season, keeping Cross in the Pacific Northwest through 2030. Cross was under contract through the 2026 season after the Seahawks exercised the fifth-year option on his rookie contract last offseason. He will make $40.5 in the first year of the extension, according to Rapoport.
The extension is the largest contract given to a non-quarterback in team history.
Seattle selected Cross ninth overall in the 2022 draft. He’s been the franchise’s starter at left tackle ever since.
The 6-foot-5, 317-pound offensive lineman had a breakout year for the Seahawks in 2024. He finished 12th in ESPN’s pass-block win rate at 93% (128 wins on 137 plays), and finished 10th among 81 tackles with an 82.5 Pro Football Focus grade. Cross allowed 47 pressures and six sacks.
Cross ranked 14th in pass-block win rate (94%) and 36th among 86 tackles in PFF grading (73.2) this year. He allowed just 24 pressures and two sacks in 14 games this season.
The Mississippi State product played in all 17 games during the 2022 and 2024 seasons and has played in 62 of 68 regular-season games overall in his four pro seasons.
Cross missed the final three games of the 2025 regular season with a hamstring injury, but the Seahawks are optimistic he will return for their next game in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs.
