DETROIT (AP) — Former Seattle Seahawks star wide receiver DK Metcalf swiped at a fan leaning over the railing in the front row at Ford Field during the second quarter of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

Walker’s big night an encouraging sign for Seahawks

Metcalf and the fan – wearing a black-and-blue shirt and a blue wig – were speaking to each other before the two-time Pro Bowler threw a right hand toward the man’s face. Metcalf did not appear to make much, if any contact.

Metcalf had one reception on six targets for 5 yards in the first half.

The Seahawks traded Metcalf to the Steelers in March, sending the 6-foot-4 wideout and a 2025 sixth-round draft pick to Pittsburgh in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick and a 2025 seventh-round pick. That trade occurred several days after reports surfaced that Metcalf had issued a trade request.

Prior to Sunday, Metcalf had 55 catches for 808 yards and six touchdowns in 14 games with the Steelers this season.

Over his six seasons in Seattle, Metcalf totaled 438 receptions for 6,324 yards and 48 TDs.
