What To Know: Changes for the 2026 college football season
They’re in a new-look Pac-12 Conference, which is back after a two-year hiatus with six new schools joining the Cougs and Oregon State Beavers.
They have a new starting quarterback in redshirt sophomore Caden Pinnick.
They even have a new coach in Kirby Moore, a Prosser native who starred alongside his brother (and current New Orleans Saints head coach) Kellen Moore at Boise State and is coming off a stint as Missouri offensive coordinator.
And now there’s a new show covering all things WSU football on Seattle Sports: Cougs Weekly, a weekly conversation between Kirby and Wazzu legend Michael Bumpus.
The show debuted in its regular 12:30 p.m. Tuesday timeslot on Seattle Sports’ Bump and Stacy, and it also comes in podcast and video form.
Here are the topics covered in the first episode, including timestamps:
0:20 – Establishing his culture at WSU
