Victor Robles is back from his suspension and in the lineup Saturday as the Seattle Mariners continue a three-game set in Atlanta with the Braves.

How Seattle Mariners could shake up lineup in ‘outside-the-box’ way

Robles is in right field and batting eighth as the M’s face Braves right-hander Hurston Waldrep.

First baseman Josh Naylor and shortstop J.P. Crawford were also back after getting Friday night off. Naylor is batting fourth and Crawford eighth. Additionally, Leo Rivas is getting his second straight start following a 2-for-3 performance with a double and an RBI on Friday. He’s at second base and batting ninth.

Robles returns to the Mariners’ lineup as the club looks to snap a four-game skid and set up a potential rubber match Sunday for an opportunity at its first series win on the road since the All-Star break. The speedy outfielder served a seven-game ban for an incident during a minor league rehab assignment when he threw his bat towards the opposing pitcher after being hit by a pitch on a swing. Robles was originally slated for a 10-game suspension but had it reduced upon appeal.

Robles began serving his ban four games into his return from a shoulder injury suffered in early April. He went 3 for 13 with two RBIs and a stolen base. The M’s were 3-1 in the four games Robles played.

The switch-hitting Rivas is 3 for 4 with a double, a home run and three RBIs since being recalled from Triple-A Tacoma on Monday. He’s batting .313 with a .436 on-base percentage and .827 OPS in 33 games in the majors this season.
