The Mariners announced Friday they have signed five of their six arbitration-eligible players to contracts for the 2015 season.
Dustin Ackley, Charlie Furbush, Austin Jackson, Logan Morrison and Justin Ruggiano all have agreed to terms, leaving Tom Wilhelmsen as the only arbitration-eligible player remaining. The Mariners can continue to negotiate with Wilhelmsen – who earned $528,800 last year – up until an arbitration hearing, which would be scheduled to take place between Feb. 2-20.
Per club policy, terms of the deals were not announced but Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports that Ruggiano’s deal is for $2.505 million for 2015.
