‘Big Dumper’ Cal Raleigh’s newest endorsement is with Honey Bucket

Jul 16, 2025, 3:08 PM

Seattle Mariners All-Star Cal Raleigh, AKA “Big Dumper,” is suddenly becoming one of the more marketable names in Major League Baseball.

Did contract extension unlock Cal Raleigh for his incredible year?

In addition to leading MLB with 38 home runs and winning the annual Home Run Derby on Monday night, he’s become a regular face in partnerships with local businesses this year. And on a national scale, he was seen among some of the biggest stars in baseball in a T-Mobile commercial that premiered Monday.

On Wednesday, there was a new endorsement for Raleigh that came to light on Instagram. And it’s one that’s such an obvious fit based on his nickname that it’s surprising it took this long to happen.

That’s right – Big Dumper has teamed up with Honey Bucket, which if you’re not familiar is, according to its website, a “leader in portable sanitation services.”

Here’s the video announcing the partnership:

Per a press release, the partnership will include “appearances, exclusive content, and promotional campaigns” featuring Raleigh.

The news of Big Dumper and Honey Bucket teaming up came out Wednesday, which has otherwise probably been the closest to a real day off Raleigh has had since spring training. He was all over TV, radio and social media coverage of the All-Star Game and its related festivities Monday and Tuesday, and that came on the heels of him playing 94 of the Mariners’ 96 games thus far this season. And as you may know, he’s also been busy this year with The Cal Raleigh Show, a weekly interview with Mariners insider Shannon Drayer that airs Thursdays during Seattle Sports’ Wyman and Bob.

Raleigh and the M’s return to action at 7:10 p.m. Friday at T-Mobile Park against the AL West-leading Houston Astros. Radio coverage on Seattle Sports will begin at 6 p.m. with the pregame show.

The Mariners (51-45) hold the third wild card in the American League with a lead of 1 1/2 games, and trail Houston (56-40) by five games for the division lead.
