Clayton: Could Jake Browning return to Huskies for senior season to improve draft standing?
If Huskies quarterback Jake Browning enters the NFL Draft after this season, he's likely looking at being a mid-round pick, so don't be surprised if he decides to come back for his senior year.

Washington coach Chris Peterson has apologized to Husky fans because of the late starts of their games – the team is in a stretch of post-7 p.m. games on Saturday. Maybe that’s why there isn’t as much buzz this year as there was last year about quarterback Jake Browning.
For a while last season, Browning had some Heisman Trophy support. A lot of the votes for that trophy come from East Coast writers, though, many of which don’t stay up late enough to watch some of the Huskies’ games. So Washington may be the best team in the Pac-12, but Browning and company have been under the radar.

If you are wondering, Browning – if he turns pro after the season – might go in the fourth, fifth or sixth rounds of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Browning’s numbers are good. He’s completing 71.4 percent of his passes for nine touchdowns and 985 yards. But like the Seahawks’ Russell Wilson, Browning has been getting off to slow starts, though his game has picked up in the second half.
If Browning’s rating stays in that fourth- to sixth-round range, I would think he would come back for his senior year.
