Gee: Pair of big UW commits set for Army All-American Bowl

A couple Washington Huskies 2018 commits just got confirmation to play in the US Army All-American Bowl: Trey Lowe and Draco Bynum.

Bynum is a 6-foot-6, 250-pound defensive end out of Wilsonville, Ore. He is as impressive in person as those measurements read. He fits the mold of a defensive end – explosive off the edge, very strong and very good technique. He held offers from other Pac-12 schools including Oregon but chose to head to Mountlake.

An all-purpose back, Lowe is 5-9 and 175 pounds but plays much bigger. He is so fast, so explosive and flat-out fun to watch. And according to him, his dream came true.

I guess the US Army All-American committee sees the same thing that coach Chris Peterson sees in these two. All the best of luck to them, and look forward to seeing them in the fall of 2018.
