Andy Eide was the Seattle Kraken insider for SeattleSports.com before his passing in 2023. Before the NHL's arrival in Seattle, Andy was the longtime Seattle Thunderbirds reporter for SeattleSports.com. He attended his first T-Birds game in 1987 and became hooked on hockey ever since. He also provided coverage of the Kraken for NHL.com and Sound of Hockey.

Pair of third period scores lead T-Birds past Winterhawks 3-2

Seattle came from behind and scored twice in the third period to pick up a win against the Portland Winterhawks on Saturday night. Monroe's own Luke Ormsby notched the game-winning goal and added an assist in the victory.

Despite missing their top three centers, the T-Birds battled hard and managed to earn a point in the standings during a 5-4 loss in Spokane to the Chiefs. Goalie Matthew Berlin stood tall in making 47 saves.
