Seahawks safety Earl Thomas was back on the practice field Tuesday. Thomas is still recovering from an offseason shoulder injury.

Seahawks safety Earl Thomas was back on the practice field Tuesday.

Thomas, still recovering from an offseason shoulder injury, was running through some non-contact drills.

“It’s been very tough,” Thomas told reporters.

He said there were “a lot of negative thoughts” going through his mind while he was out. At one point he was questioning if he still enjoyed it. However, being out on the field Tuesday “reassured” him that he still loves the game.

With Thomas working his way back to full strength, all eyes shift to his counterpart Kam Chancellor, who remained absent from training camp.
