If you haven’t heard yet, it’s supposed to be crazy cold in Minnesotaduring the Seahawks Wild Card matchup with the Vikings.
In an effort to keep fans warm, the Vikings announced they would be implementing a few free options:

• Free Caribou Coffee will be distributed at the Fan Zone outside TCF Bank Stadium.
• Free hand warmers will be distributed in the Fan Zone and at entry gates.
• Starting at 9 a.m., Mariucci Arena will be open and available as a pregame warming house.
Non-battery operated blankets will continue to be allowed and encouraged inside the stadium, but the Vikings are also encouraging fans to bring Styrofoam, cardboard or newspapers to place under their feet within the stadium, which they say is a popular and effective tactic that has worked in other outdoor markets. Fans are also told to leave their seats and enter the concourses when they want a break from the elements.
“We know Minnesotans are resilient when it comes to cold weather and unified when it comes to the Vikings, so we view this Sunday’s game as a rallying moment,” said Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf in a statement. “At the same time, we want our fans to be smart and safe when they are supporting the team, and we are taking a few extra steps to assist in that effort this Sunday.”
Limited quantities of tickets remain available for Sunday’s game, with prices ranging from $48-$154.
