GLENDALE, Ariz. – Left tackle Russell Okung and right guard J.R. Sweezy are inactive for Sunday’s game, but that was expected.

The surprise is that Kam Chancellor will miss a third consecutive game after suffering a bruised tailbone, that decision comes after he had practiced this week for the first time since the injury.

It’s not all that shocking of news. After all, the result of Sunday’s game will have – at most – a secondary impact on Seattle’s seeding for the playoffs and may not have anything to do with it at all.

Sweezy and tight end Luke Willson had already been ruled out because each suffered a concussion last week while Okung was doubtful because of a strained calf.

The Seahawks did not announce a starter at right guard in Sweezy’s absence, but rookie Mark Glowinski is expected to see some playing time.

Other Seattle players who are inactive: CB Tye Smith, RB Marshawn Lynch and DT A.J. Francis.

The Arizona Cardinals inactives: QB Matt Barkley, CB Corey White, LB Markus Golden, LB Shaq Riddick, T D.J. Humphries, NT Xavier Williams, DT Josh Mauro.

Golden will be replaced in the starting lineup by Kareem Martin.
