Falk was drafted 199th overall – coincidentally, the same round and pick as his idol, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. In fact, more than a few mock drafts projected Falk to New England. The 6-feet-4, 215-pound prospect appeared to be a perfect fit for Bill Belichick’s offense and had a private workout with the Patriots.
Ultimately, though, it was the Titans who snagged the Burlsworth Trophy winner on Day 3.

Falk, the 11th Washington State quarterback drafted in NFL history, joins another Pac-12 talent in the Titans’ quarterback room: former Oregon standout Marcus Mariota.
In 2017, Falk threw for 3,593 yards and 30 touchdowns. He leaves Washington State as the school’s all-time passing leader and holds Pac-12 records in career pass attempts (2,054), completions (1,403), passing yards (14,481), touchdowns (119) and completion percentage (68.3).
Falk was the second WSU player picked in this year’s draft, coming after offensive tackle Cole Madison, a Burien native who went to Green Bay in the fifth round.
