Stelton: Seahawks get glimpse of their defense for rest of the season

Already without Cliff Avril, the Seahawks played their first game on Monday without Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor. Bob Stelton shares his views on Seattle's performance minus their defensive stalwarts.

Richard Sherman is done for the season. So is Cliff Avril, and Kam Chancellor most likely is as well.

On Monday night, the Seahawks got their first look at their defense without those stalwarts. And while Seattle lost 34-31 to the Atlanta Falcons, seven points came on a return of a fumble by Russell Wilson, and another seven were scored shortly after a Wilson interception gave Atlanta the ball in Seattle territory.
