The Seattle Seahawks officially announced on Monday that they will conduct a joint practice with the Tennessee Titans on Aug. 21 ahead of the teams’ Aug. 23 preseason game in Nashville, as ESPN’s Brady Henderson initially reported earlier this month.
Hasselbeck: How Seahawks’ offense can reach next level
It’ll mark the third straight straight season the Seahawks have held a joint practice since Mike Macdonald took over as head coach. In 2024, the Seahawks held a pair of joint practices with the Titans in Nashville ahead of the teams’ preseason game. And in 2025, the Seahawks and Green Bay Packers held a joint practice at the Packers’ facility ahead of the teams’ preseason matchup.
Prior to 2024, the Seahawks hadn’t participated in a joint practice in more than three decades.
The Seahawks beat the Titans 30-24 in Week 12 last season in Nashville. Tennessee is entering its first season under new head coach Robert Saleh, who was the San Francisco 49ers’ defensive coordinator in 2025 and the Seahawks’ defensive quality control coach from 2011-13. Saleh is tasked with turning around a Titans franchise that’s coming off back-to-back 3-14 campaigns.
The NFL also announced on Monday the training camp report dates for all 32 teams. Seahawks rookies will report to camp on July 17, while veterans will report on July 24. The Seahawks open training camp on July 25.
