KING 5 to broadcast 10 Mariners games this season

KING 5 announced an agreement with the Seattle Mariners on Monday morning to televise 10 Friday home games this season, beginning with the April 10 series-opening showdown against the American League West rival Houston Astros.

The over-the-air broadcasts are free and will also air on KGW in Portland, KREM/KSKN in Spokane, KTVB in Boise and other affiliate stations across the Pacific Northwest.

The games, which will simultaneously be broadcast on Mariners TV, will feature the Mariners’ broadcasting crew – including Aaron Goldsmith, Angie Mentink, Ryan Rowland-Smith, Dave Valle, Ryon Healy and Brad Adam.

• Friday, April 10 vs. Houston Astros at 6:40 p.m.
• Friday, April 17 vs. Texas Rangers at 6:40 p.m.
• Friday, May 15 vs. San Diego Padres 6:40 p.m.
• Friday, May 29 vs. Arizona Diamondbacks 7:10 p.m.
• Friday, June 19 vs. Boston Red Sox 7:10 p.m.
• Friday, July 3 vs. Toronto Blue Jays 7:10 p.m.
• Friday, July 17 vs. San Francisco Giants 7:10 p.m.
• Friday, July 31 vs. Minnesota Twins 7:10 p.m.
• Friday, August 7 vs. Tampa Bay Rays 7:10 p.m.
• Friday, August 21 vs. Chicago Cubs 7:10 p.m.
