Mariners Playoffs Schedule: Blue Jays series, Seattle Sports coverage

The Mariners’ first playoff series in 21 years is set.

After locking up the No. 2 wild card on Tuesday night to book a trip to Toronto, the game times for the best-of-three wild card series were announced Wednesday morning.

Game 1: Friday, 1:07 p.m.

Game 2: Saturday, 1:07 p.m.

Game 3 (if necessary): Sunday, 11:07 a.m.

Coverage of the first two games will be carried by Seattle Sports, the flagship station of the Mariners Radio Network, with Rick Rizzs and the rest of the M’s broadcast crew on the call. Listeners can find the games on Seattle Sports 710 AM in the Puget Sound area, and streaming on SeattleSports.com and the Seattle Sports app to anyone located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, British Columbia and Alaska.

The pregame show hosted by Mariners insider Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports will begin at noon Friday and Saturday.

Prior to pregame on Friday, Seattle Sports’ Bump and Stacy will air live from Hatback Bar & Grille across the street from T-Mobile Park from 10 a.m. to noon, with the 11 o’clock hour being a special edition of The Dugout. Seattle Sports will be back Saturday at Hatback with hosts Bob Stelton (Wyman and Bob) and Mike Salk (Brock and Salk) joined by Mariners analyst and former MLB pitcher Ryan Rowland-Smith, getting you ready for Game 2 ahead of pregame with a two-hour broadcast starting at 10 a.m.

Additionally, you can catch a new edition of Seattle Sports’ Mariners Extra Innings with host Curtis Rogers and baseball insider guests from 9-11 p.m. Thursday previewing the M’s-Blue Jays series.
