Johnson finished with a 36-hole score of 136 (8-under), five strokes ahead of Lisa Grimes in second place.

After bogeying the first two holes of the day, Johnson recovered with four birdies over the next nine holes to clinch the victory.

“I putted so-so, but over the last 10 holes, I made the putts when I needed to and that’s the important thing,” Johnson said of her second career Legend Tour win.

Johnson, who shot a 66 Saturday and 70 Sunday, took home the winner’s prize of $25,000 in the $175,000 event.

Wendy Ward, an LPGA veteran from Edwall, Wash., finished 10th in her first Legends Tour event.

Michelle McGann (143) took third, while Liselotte Neumann and Nancy Scranton tied for fourth at 144.
