Lineup: Mariners give Danny Valencia a day off at 1B

The Mariners will give struggling first baseman Danny Valencia a day off Wednesday in their series finale against the Houston Astros at 7:10 on 710 ESPN Seattle.
Utility infielder Mike Freeman will take over at first and hit eight in the Mariners lineup. Mike Zunino is back at catcher after having Tuesday off, while shortstop Taylor Motter has been bumped up to sixth in the order a day after hitting three doubles.
Mariners recall right-handed reliever Evan Marshall
Valencia is hitting .143 (5 for 35) with a double, two RBIs, a run scored, two walks and 10 strikeouts in his first nine games with Seattle.
