Watch: Justin Barnes of 710 ESPN Seattle surprised with Super Bowl tickets

Feb 4, 2022, 12:29 PM

If you’re a regular listener of The Mike Salk Show, which can be heard every weekday morning on 710 ESPN Seattle from 6-10 a.m., you no doubt hear what longtime 710 contributors Mike Salk and Maura Dooley have to say about everything Seattle sports. But you also hear Justin Barnes, a newer addition to the 710 team, as well.

Justin joined the 710 ESPN Seattle family in September of 2021 when The Mike Salk Show hit the airwaves and while it’s clear he loves the Seahawks and all Seattle sports teams, it’s also been clear that his favorite NFL team throughout his life is the Cincinnati Bengals.

Justin has been very vocal about his support of the Bengals this season, especially as they won the AFC North and won the AFC despite entering the playoffs as the No. 4 seed.

Now, the Bengals are Super Bowl bound for the first time since 1988 after beating the Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs and will take on the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC champion’s home stadium.

Justin was going to L.A. to be around fellow Bengals fans, but he’d been unable to secure a ticket to the game.

That changed on Friday, though, as caller Zach surprised Justin with tickets to the game on behalf of the Scooters of Destiny Scooter Club.

You can watch the surprise and reaction at this link or in the video at the top of this story.

Have fun in L.A., Justin!
