The Mariners like the production they’ve seen out of third baseman Kyle Seager so much, they went back to the Seager family well on the final day of the 2013 MLB Draft.

UNC-Charlotte first baseman Justin Seager was the Mariners’ 12th-round pick Saturday, becoming the third Seager brother to be taken in the draft in the last four years. Oldest brother Kyle Seager was taken by the Mariners in the third round in 2009, and middle brother Corey Seager was a first-round pick in 2012 who currently plays in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ minor-league system.

Justin Seager is coming off a junior season where he hit .351, slugged .484 and drove in 40 runs on his way to winning Atlantic 10 co-Player of the Year honors.
