Wyman’s Football 101: This is why Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett is worth his contract
The Seahawks signed Tyler Lockett to a three-year extension worth a reported $31.8 million prior to this season, leaving a lot of people scratching their heads about why. The only people left scratching their heads now are those who have tried to cover Lockett this year.
The 26-year-old wide receiver and return man has nine touchdown receptions for the Hawks, tied for fifth in the NFL in 2018, the latest being a beautiful 52-yarder from Russell Wilson in last Sunday’s 43-16 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
