Pete Carroll becomes winningest coach in Seahawks history

The Seahawks made history with their first game in franchise history in England on Sunday. And then head coach Pete Carroll went and made some Seahawks history of his own in London.

With Seattle’s 27-3 win over the Raiders, Carroll won his 91st game as Seahawks coach, passing Mike Holmgren for most wins as head coach in franchise history.

Carroll reached 91 wins (including postseason) in his ninth season with Seattle. Holmgren reached 90 wins in 10 years with the Seahawks.
Carroll is 82-51 in the regular season as Seahawks coach and 10-7 in the playoffs.
Before coming to Seattle, Carroll spent one season as head coach of the New York Jets (1994), three with New England (1997-99), and nine at USC (2001-09).
