The Seahawks have re-signed quarterback Austin Davis, who served as the backup to starter Russell Wilson, the team announced Monday.

Davis, 28, originally signed with the Seahawks in June 2017 and beat out former Seahawks quarterback Trevone Boykin for the No. 2 spot. With Davis and last week’s signing of Stephen Morris, the Seahawks now have three quarterbacks on the roster.
Seattle also re-signed linebacker Paul Dawson, who was signed to the practice squad last November and promoted to the active roster in December to add depth after injuries to K.J. Wright and Bobby Wagner.
In other news, three exclusive rights free agents have signed their tenders: center Joey Hunt, defensive end Branden Jackson, and long snapper Tyler Ott.
The Seahawks begin voluntary offseason workouts Monday.
