Wyman’s Football 101: Frank Clark’s leap saves Seahawks from giving up big run to Colts

Most times in Football 101, we show how a scheme allows a Seahawks player to make a big play. But every once in a while there’s a play that is more about somebody’s incredible athletic ability or instincts that needs to be highlighted.

This week, that play is Frank Clark’s tackle of Frank Gore after an incredible leap over a Colts blocker.

In the video above, 710 ESPN Seattle’s Dave Wyman breaks down not only how Clark made that play and prevented a potentially significant gain by Indianapolis, but he looks at another play earlier in Clark’s career that was a precursor of sorts.
