The Seahawks crossed midfield on only four of 11 possessions in their loss to Tampa Bay on Sunday. Three of those trips inside Buccaneers territory resulted in a turnover, including an interception by Russell Wilson on a throw to Paul Richardson, which killed a scoring opportunity right before halftime.
“It’s a combination of things right there,” coach Pete Carroll said about the interception. “We need to continue coming in there on our route, and he gunned it in there kind of counting on it, and it didn’t work out right. We didn’t do it as cleanly as we needed to.”
Brock Huard takes a closer look in this week’s Chalk Talk video at what Richardson did wrong and what else contributed to the interception.
