Huard’s Chalk Talk: What all went wrong on Russell Wilson’s first interception vs Bucs

Brock Huard breaks down the first of the two interceptions that Russell Wilson threw Sunday, which was one of the key plays of the Seahawks' loss to Tampa Bay.

The Seahawks crossed midfield on only four of 11 possessions in their loss to Tampa Bay on Sunday. Three of those trips inside Buccaneers territory resulted in a turnover, including an interception by Russell Wilson on a throw to Paul Richardson, which killed a scoring opportunity right before halftime.

“It’s a combination of things right there,” coach Pete Carroll said about the interception. “We need to continue coming in there on our route, and he gunned it in there kind of counting on it, and it didn’t work out right. We didn’t do it as cleanly as we needed to.”
