LB Malcolm Smith inactive for the Seahawks

Seahawks linebacker Malcolm Smith – a starter the past two weeks – is inactive for Sunday’s game against Jacksonville.

Smith had been limited in practice this week. In his absence, expect O’Brien Schofield to see time at strongside linebacker as well as Mike Morgan.

Other inactive players for Seattle: S Jeron Johnson (groin), FB Spencer Ware (ankle), DT D’Anthony Smith, DE Benson Mayowa and DT Jordan Hill (biceps).

For the Jaguars, expect Will Blackmon – who was released by Seattle – to start at cornerback with starter Alan Ball inactive. Other inactives for Jacksonville: QB Blaine Gabbert, WR Mike Brown, S Winston Guy, CB Dwayne Gratz, TE Marcedes Lewis, DT Abry Jones.
