TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Devan Cambridge scored 16 of his 18 points in the second half, Jamiya Neal added 14 points and 12 rebounds — both career highs — and Arizona State beat the UW Huskies 73-65 Sunday, handing Washington its fifth consecutive loss.

Desmond Cambridge Jr. hit a 3-pointer to give Arizona State (13-3, 4-1 Pac-12) 28-26 lead at intermission and his brother Devan Cambridge scored 12 points in the first 10 minutes of the second half as the Sun Devils stretched their lead to 14 points. Keyon Menifield converted a traditional three-point play to cut Washington’s deficit to 54-46 with 6:48 to play but Devan Cambridge checked back into the game and moments later took a steal the other way for a dunk, assisted on a 3 by Frankie Collins and then threw down an alley-oop from Collins to make it 61-46 less than 2 minutes later.

The Huskies scored 12 consecutive points in the final 77 seconds.

DJ Horne hit four 3-pointers and finished with 12 points for Arizona State and Collins scored 10.

Keion Brooks Jr. had 15 points and 11 rebounds and Noah Williams also scored 15 for Washington (9-8, 1-5). Jamal Bey added 12 points and Menifield finished with 10 points and eight assists.

Arizona State shot 54% in the second half and finished shooting 29 of 71 (41%) with 23 assists.
