Mariners Trade Deadline Breakdown: Did they do enough?

The 2022 MLB trade deadline has come and gone, and the Mariners certainly were players on the market. In fact they made the first true blockbuster of the season last Friday night, acquiring Luis Castillo, the top available starting pitcher, from the Cincinnati Reds.

Deadline day, however, was a quieter affair for the M’s, who made just a pair of smaller deals to add depth to their bench and bullpen before the 3 p.m. deadline.
Now the question is: Did the Mariners do enough?
