Dipoto: M’s making ‘real progress’ with free agents

The Mariners announced Thursday that their weeknight games at T-Mobile Park in April, May and September will have a 6:40 p.m. scheduled first pitch. Opening night on Thursday, March 31 against the Tigers will have the old 7:10 p.m. start time, but it will switch to 6:40 p.m. beginning the next night.

“The earlier start for weeknight games is based on feedback received from fans who have requested earlier first pitches for games during the school year,” the Mariners said in a press release.

Weeknight games in June, July and August will still begin at 7:10 p.m.

Tickets for the 2022 M’s regular season will go on sale next Thursday, Nov. 25. For more info, including key dates and promotions, click here.
