Stephen Schilling, graduate of Bellevue High School, was selected by the San Diego Chargers with the 36th pick of the sixth round, 201st overall.
Schilling started all four years at Michigan, having played his first two seasons at the tackle position.
At 6’5″, 303lbs, Schilling is a versatile lineman who posted impressive numbers at the combine. He was ranked 9th at his position in the 20-yard shuttle, which he ran in 4.62 seconds. He also posted a sixth-best 30 rep bench-press.
Based on his Senior Bowl performance, many scouting reports had Schilling going as early as the fourth round.
