It’s been almost seven years since Felix Hernandez did this. He gets another shot Saturday to add to his career home run total of one, as he’s pitching and hitting ninth in the second game of interleague play for the Mariners.
Also in the lineup for Seattle in Game 2 at Cincinnati is first baseman Dae-Ho Lee, who had a huge night Friday off the bench, driving in two with a bases-loaded single and later adding a solo homer.
First pitch for the Mariners and Reds from the Great American Ball Park is at 1:10 on 710 ESPN Seattle, with the pregame show at noon.
