Video: Mariners’ Robinson Cano hits fourth home run in three games

Make that four home runs in three games for Robinson Cano, who hit two more Wednesday to help the Mariners take their season-opening series against Texas.

Cano hit a two-run shot to open the scoring in the first then another one in the ninth to pad the Mariners’ lead at 9-5, which is how the game ended. You can watch both homers in the video embedded above.

According to ESPN Stats & Information, Cano becomes the first player in franchise history to start a season with a home run in each of the first three games. Last season, it took him 71 games to hit his fourth home run, which he’s already done.
