The Seahawks’ list of players that did not practice grew by one on Thursday.
In addition to the six players that were DNPs on Wednesday, rookie wide receiver Paul Richardson joined the list due to a hamstring injury. The new development adds a wrinkle as the typically low-scoring Seattle offense prepares to take on the Arizona Cardinals and their third-ranked defense on Sunday. Richardson appeared on the verge of a breakthrough last week after a strong game in the win over San Francisco, bringing in three receptions for 30 yards and his first career touchdown.
Also listed as DNP on Thursday were center Max Unger (knee/ankle), defensive end Demarcus Dobbs (ankle), tackle Russell Okung (chest), guard J.R. Sweezy (ankle), tight end Tony Moeaki (shoulder) and running back Marshawn Lynch (back). All are likely at some risk of missing Sunday’s game except for Lynch, who has had both Wednesdays and Thursdays off in recent weeks without missing any game time.
Tight end Cooper Helfet, who is recovering from an ankle injury, was a full participant for the second straight day.
