The Mariners have added four players from the Double-A Arkansas Travelers to their Major League roster, headlined by 2016 first-round draft picks Justin Dunn and Kyle Lewis. All four will be making their MLB debuts with their first appearances for Seattle.

Seattle has also promoted infielder Donnie Walton and right-handed pitcher Art Warren from Arkansas. To make room on the 40-man roster for all four players, utility man Ryan Court has been designated for assignment.
Dunn, a right-handed pitcher who was selected 19th overall by the New York Mets in 2016, went 9-5 with a 3.55 ERA, 158 strikeouts and 39 walks in 25 starts (131 2/3 innings) for the Travelers this season. Ranked the No. 5 prospect in the Mariners organization by MLB Pipeline, he was named both a mid-season and post-season Texas League All-Star and played in the Futures Game during the MLB All-Star weekend in Cleveland in July. The 23-year-old Dunn was acquired by the Mariners from the Mets in a blockbuster offseason trade that sent Robinson Canó and Edwin Díaz to New York and also brought top prospect Jarred Kelenic to the M’s.

Lewis, a 24-year-old outfielder, was picked 11th overall by the Mariners in 2016. He suffered a catastrophic leg injury in 2016, and this year was his first as a pro that he was healthy enough to play a full season. With the Travelers, Lewis hit .263 with 61 runs scored, 25 doubles, 11 home runs and 62 RBIs in 122 games. The No. 10 Mariners prospect, Lewis led Arkansas in doubles and RBIs.

The 25-year-old Walton hit .300 with 72 runs scored, 22 doubles, 11 homers, 50 RBIs and 10 stolen bases in 124 games for Arkansas. He was a fifth-round pick in 2016 by Seattle. The former Oklahoma State standout was the Travelers’ starting shortstop but also made a handful of appearances at second base.

Warren, 26, is the No. 26 prospect in the Mariners organization. He posted a 2-1 record with a 1.71 ERA and 15 saves in 17 chances this year for Arkansas, earning Texas League Post-Season All-Star honors. Exclusively a reliever since 2017, Warren joined Seattle as a 23rd-round selection in 2015.
The 31-year-old Court made his MLB debut earlier this season with the Mariners after being signed by Seattle out of the independent Atlantic League. He has hit .208 (5 for 24) with a home run and five RBIs over two stints (12 games) with Seattle.
Fans should get their first look at the Mariners’ four new call-ups when they begin a three-game interleague series at home against the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night. Coverage begins on 710 ESPN Seattle with the pregame show at 6 p.m., with first pitch set for 7:10.
